Effective Learners

Our whole school focus this term is about being the best learner you can be and everyone has certainly embraced this. Walking around the school, I hear lots of conversations about learning from students and teachers. Students are also being very reflective and honest when considering their strengths and weaknesses so that they can build on their skills.  Not only are the students focused on their learning but so are the staff – they too are being very reflective when thinking about the learning that is happening in their classrooms. The parent teacher interviews were also another opportunity to add to that ‘learner’ picture and go a long way to supporting us in working together as a team to enhance the students’ learning opportunities.
